Sun first thing in the A.M.
A great way to boost your mood, increase your energy and improve your sleep is by getting sunlight and fresh air first thing in the morning. Bring your coffee or your yoga mat and take 5 minutes outside before hustling back to the rest of your day.
Last month we talked about limiting 'blue light' or what our brain recognizes as daytime light at night. The flip side of this is exposing our eyes and skin to direct sunlight in the mornings! Important for all ages, so bring the kids too. Overachievers go for a short family walk or plan a morning activity outside that fit the season.
After a week of your daily vitamin D doses you may notice you are a morning person!
