Nut Butter Fat Blocks

Here’s our favorite snack! Full of protein and healthy fats. Super satisfying for hunger and the sweet tooth. You can totally customize these too, feel free to get creative. Warning: It is not a great grab and go snack as it melts pretty easy. We recommend Lara Bars for on the go snacks.

Homemade nut butter fat blocks

1 and 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips

3/4 cup coconut oil

2 cups nut butter of choice (feel free to experiment with half and half our favorite is half almond half creamy peanut)

0-5 Tbs raw honey or alternative

2 tsp vanilla extract (or half vanilla half almond)

1 tsp cinnamon (optional)

1.4 tsp sea salt


On the stove top, heat up chocolate, nut butter and oil until melted. Then add in honey. Remove from heat and add in extract and cinnamon. Line an 8x8 baking sheet with parchment or wax paper and spread the mixture evenly. Sprinkle with salt. Pop in the fridge or freezer until firm and then remove, cut into cubes and enjoy! Keep in the fridge so it doesn’t melt!
